Bio Starter POND - 5L - Aquaforest

Bio Starter is a specialised biological preparation containing selected strains of nitrifying bacteria from the Nitrospirae and Nitrobacter families, which play a key role in the nitrogen cycle.

 Thanks to them, toxic ammonia and nitrites are converted into much less harmful nitrates, which helps to maintain a healthy and stable aquatic ecosystem.

 The preparation works well in both newly established reservoirs and ponds that have been in operation for years – especially after cleaning filters, treating fish, changing water or after winter, when it is necessary to restart the biology.

 Regular use of Bio Starter supports biological filtration, improves the condition of fish and facilitates the maintenance of crystal clear water.

Application:

    New ponds – accelerates the start of the nitrogen cycle and allows fish to be introduced more quickly.

    After winter – supports the restoration of the biology of the reservoir when the water temperature exceeds 8°C.

    Water changes and filter cleaning – replenishes the bacterial flora after each intervention in the filtration system.

    After fish treatment – rebuilds bacteria after antibacterial therapy.

    Prevention – used once a month to maintain biological balance.

Dosage:

    New tanks – 500 ml / 10,000 l of water per day for the first 2 weeks.

    Spring – 1,000 ml / 10,000 l of water once a week for a month.

    Rest of the year – 1,000 ml / 10,000 l of water once a month.

Shake before use. An additional dose is recommended after fish loss or population increase.
